On Saturday, I'll be taking part in the exam to receive my 4-dan in kendo. I've been practising with my grandfather when my brother is unavailable. I'm not concerned about the practical exam. However, I have been doing quite a bit of reading so that I will be able to do well on the written exam. Otherwise, I believe I will be starting training for 5-dan starting on Sunday.

I also finished the last of the landscaping by securing bolts into the wooden posts into the patio awning. It definitely doesn't look empty anymore. The dogs have taken to it, but they have their own beds that my sister-in-law brought by a couple of weeks ago.
